dh was going to put a chicken in the oven tonight, not for dinner or anything just to pick at for sandwiches etc, anyway he just shouted up the stairs to me "I'm taking the chicken back to Tesco" and when I asked why he said it still had it's heart, lungs & liver inside it!!! yuk yuk yuk it's made me feel sick

Good job he looked inside before cooking - when I was younger - I just you to pop it in the oven without looking - the times I use to cook the giblets was too many to count - lol.

I phoned dh whilst he was at Tesco and asked him what they said about the chicken and he did even bother taking it back 20061008

he was quartering and chopping up the chicken and that's when he discovered what was inside, he just removed it and cooked the chicken anyway. I don't know how he has the stomach to do it, it's making me feel ill. I can't even touch raw meat, I have to use any implement I can find other than my bare hands to get it out of the packaging

I hasten to add I did not eat the chicken

I'm glad I was not in the kitchen when he was cooking, I was upstairs and communicating with him by shouting up and down the stairs, well I was too busy on mumszone


If it was me I would have taken the chicken straight back to Tesco and I don't understand why he didn't 20061008
