They are utter Tw*ts!!!

8 months ago we moved and at our new address we couldnt get our broardband working, after a few phone calls etc still nothing, we emailed tiscali and said we were not happy and that if they didnt get it sorted soon we were going to go else where for our internet!

They e mailed us and said that we could use dial up and they would not charge us for it and that they would not charge us for the phone calls to them either, so thats what we did. About 6 weeks later the broardband was working again.

A few weeks after that i got a bill through saying that they were going to take £291.17p out of my account, i phoned them and said about the e mails and they said they didnt send out e mails saying that, so i cancelled my DD with them and sent off a copy of the e mails.

Last week i got a letter from a Debt collection service about this bill, i phoned them and read out the e mail and they said that the e mail puts us in the clear and to keep hold of them.

This morning another letter from the same debt collectors came saying that if i dont pay in the next 7 days it will go to court!

Phoned them again this morning and now i have to send a copy of the e mails to them, I did take about 10 copys of the e mails from the computer just incase the computer crashed at any time,

Bloody does my head in all this crap, just glad we did it all by e mail and not phone else we wouldnt have any proff that they said this.

Sorry its a long one, got it off my chest now!

Tiscali :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

We had probs with them as well. Very patronising people on the tech helpline couldn't work out why we weren't getting a connection, so we cancelled and came to our current ISP. They even tried the "Your in a 12 month contract" line but as we couldn't see anything we think they hadn't fulfilled their side of the contract so got round it that way.

Only thing was they didn't inform the payment section that we were cancelling so they kept on charging dh's card. He had a few irate words with them on the phone.

Hope you get it sorted out soon.
