Just thought I'd be nosey and see if any of us crafters have anything much on the go at the moment?

I'm doing a few crochet bits,

Couple of baby blankets and a cot bed blanket for customers from my site, just completed a handbag, also doing a cardi for baby, well trying to in a fashion lol, it's a bit more complicated than I 1st thought but I'm determined. Also want to crochet our new baby a blanket but am waiting to see what gender baby is 1st.

Need to run up a few more drawstring pouches for my beaded site stuff as well.

And talking myself into the idea of teaching myself to knit better and to pattern etc, at the moment all my skills stretch to in that dept is scarves lol.

I have a stack of about 9 part started/finished x-stitch pictures that I have seriously lost interest in of late so they are on a back burner as well as 2 latch hook picture projects!

Trying to teach myself how to knit at the minute too!

I'm having a quiet time at the moment, not going to get much done during January as I'll be working most of the time, so it'll be February before I get back into card making

I got an origami memory book for Christmas, which I must try to figure out the instructions for! It's a lovely gift.

I also have a cross-stitch birth sampler to do but bearing in mind I only finished ds2's about 6 months ago (he's 5 now!) I'm not making any promises on that one!

In the New Year I'm going to make my boys a cushion each to match the quilts I made them for Christmas, then I'm going to make a baby quilt for Smudge.

Cards I just do as and when nowadays...

Have a wedding I'm doing and a baby naming ceromony at the moment. The wedding is for 60 people so sort of 60 of everything lol, luckily the baby one is only for 5 and they only need the actual invitations.

Loads of personal stuff on the go though and as always several scrapbook projects too.

Love Kate

i got into knitting again a few months back and i've been using the fluffy wool that i can't think of the name of, all of the scarves in the shops are made from it atm its great to knit with and the effect is so good after it looks shop bought (and you can gain and drop a few stitches without really noticing too!) i made almost everyone a scarf for xmas but i'm gonna try some cushion covers in the new year i think. i don't do much more complex stuff!!

I'm currently working on a cross-stitch that I got for my DH for our 2nd wedding anniversary which was in 2005 (I only just started it this Christmas) and so far it's taking me ages to get anything done on it. It has bits of pearl filament that need working into it and it is horrible stuff to cross-stitch with.

I finished the one that I was working on ages ago - I must remember to take a photo of it.

Hi, well I have a cardigan coat I'm knitting to finish and then I want to start a patch work quilt, only ever done small quilting projects before so this will be a challenge.

Apart from those no plans to try anything new just yet, but the year is young!

I'm still trying to finish a scarf for my hubby that he asked me for might have another tackle at that today.

Bit hard going on the eyes though it's multicolour bright rainbow wool!!!
