Tuesdays from 5 April at 9pm

Following the success of the hit first series in the UK and a resulting series in America, Supernanny is back! No-nonsense nanny Jo Frost returns with her magic for series two, with four new episodes to be followed by eight more later in the year, putting modern families, parenting and childcare back under the microscope.

Wasnt it good and werent they little brats, tbh on this occasion I blamed the mum, how could she let them behave like that, and I actually felt sorry for the father.

I couldnt believe the way in which the boys spoke to her, although her daughter seemed very well behaved which was suprising surrounded by all that!

i agree Toni, she had no control :ac39: their language was disgusting - i would be mortified if Ethan ever spoke like that.

and your right about the little girl, she was surprisingly well behaved!

They were awful weren't they!!! I dont think i could have kept calm in her situation at all, think i'd have hit the :mimi: by now!!!!

They had a lovely house too and the kids were just wrecking it!

I hate hearing swearing like that from kids, sounded awful.

That little boy was a nightmare! I felt so sorry for that mum it was so clear the dad didn't give her a hand with anything and left her too it! :angry-smiley-005:

She seemed to be depressed to me, But bless her she really coouldn't cope. I couldn't believe it when she early dragged the boy down the stairs by his FEET! I hope to God I have always got the support I need to not be like that!

I hope it stays good for her and that he continues to do bathtime!

I'm glad someone has said that, (not in a horrible way!) as that is what i was thinking. Felt a bit :( watching it as i could see myself there too. It's just doing something about it that is the hard bit!

Anyone been watching the current series?

angeleyes
08-09-2005, 09:57 AM
yep.. ...its brilliant...

I actually find myself using some of the techniques i see on there...

I like Jo Frost because to start with she tells it like it is, but then she doesn't hold that against the parent/s, she just gets on with it, with what i have seen the support that is needed by these people!!!

The naughty step works really well for me, well not for me personally for the girls sitting on it I mean! Might try it with DH!!

:hysterica lol...try it with your dh..

I have used the "chill out area" which i have used Leahs room for that...put her in there for 3 minutes and it really does work!!! i did try the "naughty step", but our stairs are to close to the living room, so instead of thinking about what she had done, she just messed about....very annoying :ac39: ...

But i must admit, i should use her "chill out room" more than i do...but i tend to use that as a last resort!!

We decided recently to try the naughty step on madam - she's using reverse psychology already! If we tell her that she's on her last warning or she'll go on the step she announces tht she wants the naughty step and goes and sits down..... :ac39:
