I have just seen a report on the ITV news regarding the release of Jonathon King from prison. He has served 3 and a half years for paediophilia.

When he came out of the prison to speak to the press he said that he had been imprisoned for something that he didn't do?

Now forgive me for saying this but he had been found guilty of the charges and yet has been released in an obvious state of mind of denial.

As someone who works in the area of Child Protection I would find this mentality very concerning.

Has anyone else got any more information regarding his trial and/or release? Or any opinions about it?

I find that pretty disturbing as well. What reasons has he given for the police finding evidence in his home?

Apparently he is planning to make a record once he is released, and he has also stated that he thinks that being a convicted sex offender will not harm his career!

He served 3 1/2 yrs of a 7yr sentance (which in my eyes still wasn't long enough)

He says that he is not interested in teen boys anymore as its inappropriate for a man in his 60s to have relations with teenagers, but he will not condemn anybody that does! ..What an insult to boys he abused!!! He has not learned anything from prison. He has described it as an enjoyable, fascinating experience like boarding school without the sex!

How the hell he ever managed to get out of prison is beyond me as he is a sick, sick man!!
