Hi, my mum's just bought me a Huggababy sling but I have no instructions or pictures other than the ones on the website, which are limited. Anyone got any advice on how best to wear it? I know there are different ways but not really sure what!! "Doh" TIA

depends a lot on baby and mum's preference tbh, cradle or 'tummy-to-tummy' are standard newborn carries, have a look at this though it's an unpadded ring sling the idea is the same http://www.mamatoto.org/Default.aspx?tabid=88

Great, thanks a lot. That'll be the position I'll need to start off with!

ooh how exciting, I loved it when I carried dd when she was a baby, she is a monkey now and wants to walk a lot.

Still need to practice back carrying with ergo and MT

Good luck

Whassat have you found www.slingmeet.co.uk yet? You might find someone there to help you get it sorted out :)

Thanks, I found some videos on how to use it on their new website and dh has sorted it now, even though we haven't actually used it yet as she tends to just be in our arms most of the time!

whassat - have you got a dvd with instructions? Sometimes it's easier to *someone* else IYSWIM? I'd be more than happy to send you a spare one!

Trog, I wear DS2 most of the time now, but for the first babymooning phase, I just wanted to sit and stroke that babysoft skin all day long :cloud9:
