Phoenix Nights star Peter Kay has been voted Britain's favourite comedian. The Boltonian pipped Billy Connolly and Ricky Gervais for the title. Who is your favourite?

I love Peter Kay, i think he's great. Also like Ricky too. But i'm loving Little Britain atm. So that narrows it down. :P

I love Peter Kay but my favourite of favourites has to be the troll like one - Bill Bailey.

He is amazingly hilarious live and can I say slightly attractive in a hairy warlock way. :wub:

Brian Conley - off to see him in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (caractus potts) next Fri night - can't wait - saw it last July with my sisters but bringing the kids this time. Alvin Stardust playing the Childcatcher - they only take over from Jason Donovan and Stephen Gately this week.

I've seen him live a couple of times and he's very good. Have also seen Eddie Izzard a couple of times and really enjoyed him. Billy Connolly is fantastic though - definately my favourite!

Im a recent Peter Kay convert,my fav though is Lee Evans.

Have found out that he is in Bournemouth in December so gonna try and persuade dh that it would be a great Xmas pressie for us.

I saw Lee Evans years ago (before he was really famous) at a local theatre and he put on a brilliant show then, so it should be even better now!

Lilly Savage was also great - S/he did a mime with Bob Down (remember him?) of them skating the Bolero .....very funny, but you had to be there.

I do like Peter Kay ... the shows of him "live at ..." that I have seen on tv have had me rofl!

Did you see the video of "Amarillo" shown on Comic relief? Was quite amusing.

Lee Evans came to our local theatre last year and Jack Dee was there last month but missed both of these.

Have seen Lenny Henry there ,he was funny,even dh liked it.
