If you have it, who do you get it through and what does it cost. I need some.

I get it through Norwich Union I think but I get a discount due to my membership with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. If you're a member of an association, maybe try getting it through them.
Failing that, do a search on Google for it and you should get lots of quotes.
HTH!

Thanks Arianna
Just wanted to update you in case anyone else also needs PI insurance - a friend of mine recommended a company that specialises in providing PI to small and medium size companies - particularly those in consulting, marketing, IT, web design - things like that.
I just got a policy from them online and it cost £173 and it's fairly comprehensive giving me good cover - which is a lot less than the starting price of £500 which is what i was quoted by others.
So if you need insurance, you might want to try this company. Other than ordering online with them I have no experience of what they're like but so far the transation process has been smooth and they explain things so it's not all legalise. The company is called Blyth Valley Insurance. Not sure if I'm allowed to put a link in to it but you can just google them.
