I've got a new job!

I've got a job in a pub! It's only 2 days a week, Saturdays & Sundays, but hey, it's money, & thats MUCH needed at the moment!

I Start my training next Friday & do my first proper shift on the Saturday. I'm Nervous & exited at the same time!:unsure:

Yes hun , bar work.

I used to do it years ago, in my single days, & I loved it, thats why I'm looking forward to it. I'm a bit nervous though, as I'm well out of practice, I just hope I've still got the guts to ask for ID/ refuse to serve drunk people, break up fights, that sort of thing. :unsure:

The only thing that puts me off these days is the way pub managers seem to be treated as opposed to how landlords used to be.

I'd love my own pub one day! Long hours & hard work, but very rewarding :D

Im sure you will love it! I had never worked in a pub before 4 months ago and i love all the banter with the regulars! I have been saving my tips for about 6 weeks now and have just over £140 so thats another good side of it - i only do a monday and tuesday night!
