Thank you so much for missing me and enquiring. Yes, I'm still around but feeling very reclusive at the moment. Been given the warning that my weight is now a serious health problem and have even been given the choice of surgery!! Not easy to know what to do as the drs. have all agreed it certainly isn't the amount I'm eating and my food is usually healthy - lots of fruit and fresh veg. The thing is, at the beginning of the year when our family problems began I warned everyone that I would balloon and this is what I have done. The worries are still on-going with trying to hold dd no.1 together knowing there is nothing I can do to help except be there and it is awfully hard when you are mum and you have always put things to right for them all. I just can't make all the worries with leaukemia and dd's marriage problems just go away. As though that wasn't enough to think about to everyone's amusement especially smirnoff and Marc I open the post this a.m. to find I have a speeding ticket. They all laugh as they all know they also speed but it is never anyone else who gets caught. Another £60 wasted!!
When I get things straighter and don't feel so down I'll be back to plague you all. I usually have a read though and NH and Dr certainly are a good pick-me up!!

Easy to laugh when it is someone else. I do it myself but I wish someone else would get caught so I could also have a laugh. It was dfd fault though as she was being downright horrid that day and talking to me as though I was a piece of ........ and I wasn't having it. Besides I wasn't aware there was a speed restriction at that point but I certainly do now. Have told her that if she is horrid to me again I'm not taking her in the car. We will either miss the appointment (she had a hospital appointment and we were running late) or she can walk or, knowing SS, they will get her a taxi. I've told her that there will be no more pocket money now until the £60 is paid. That will make her think.

Big hugs for you Mumsiejudy. Sounds like things are pretty rough for you at the moment. And it never rains but it pours !
I think the only thing you can do for dd1 and hubby is be there for them, I know you probably want to do so much more and it can be very frustrating. Having someone to lean on at times like this is so important and I'm sure you do such a great job at that.
It's also really hard at these times to see the humourous side of things when everything is so dark and negative around you. I am sure no-one was laughing in a mocking sense, my Mum tells me things and I roll around laughing just because of the way she tells them !
I do truly hope and wish things pick up for you soon. You do a marvellous job with your dfd and she will thank you one day when she turns around to see who has been by her side when she needed looking after. Hugs for you x
