This is a chick lit book about three women, Imogen, Sophie and Jo, who decided to go on a three-week summer hols together in Cornwall or somewhere (sorry am not really good with UK geography). Each took their own kids and left their husbands at home (except for Jo who was a single mom).

Imogen is a prim-and-proper woman, highly efficient and disciplined, rather like Bree Van De Kamp, has three children, and is struggling with the fact that her workaholic husband is being transferred to Hong Kong so she has to deal with the move after the hols.

Sophie is a laid-back mother of two, sensible but knows when to relax and does not take things too seriously unlike Imogen, who couldn't live without checking the weather report. Have wild sex-romps with her hubbie whenever he comes to visit :cheesy: .

Jo is a GP, always stressed, leads a rather chaotic life with her son and is always doubtful about men as a result of the failed relationship with her son's dad. Her son Finn treats her as a friend and thinks that she is cool.

Three women, with three very different personalities and ways to raise their children living together for three whole weeks without any men to play referee?... Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

This book is up for swap, if anyone is interested, and I'm willing to let it go for anything hilarious or Jeffrey Archer (but please check the title first cos I already have loads of Jeffrey Archer's books).

Oh, and I can't help saying this but while reading that book, I can't help comparing the characters with the people on here LOL sorry... You may smack me now, you people, I'm all yours, but honestly, I think Imogen is Ravenfire, Sophie is Snowy (where is Snowy, I haven't seen her around much) and Jo is Angel1980 :blusingan :cheesy: :fryingpan: . Really! I've no idea why! It doesn't help that the characters are all British, so it was very easy to compare. LOL...
