hi there,

I have had a look and tried to see if there are any threads about craft fairs but Im still trying to find my way around!

I thought if there were a few of us we could share any info that we may have on upcoming events.

If anyone is near me in Nottingham, I have a fair booked on dec2nd. Its in a little posh primary school (its the schools christmas fete) they always have a good turnout and the parents obviously all have young children. I know a teacher so she can wangle a table! All the school asks is that if you do take a lot of money you make a little donation & a raffle prize.

Let me know if you are inetersted or have any details!

I do craft shows (I'm not a Mum though :) ) I've got my first 2 day one coming up on the 11th Nov am hoping it's going to be a good one.

I find the small village shows don't do well for me, more browsers than buyers.

How about you what's the best shows for you?

Hiya,

I also have my first two day one booked for next week I am so nervous!

Its loughborough town hall arts and crafts in the village - eeek!

We normally are happy at small ones if we just cover our costs and make a little extra and hand out a few business cards, but I agree about the browsing.

How are you approaching the 2 day event, I planning on just taking a display to take orders rather than having lots of pre prepared items. I only just did one on saturday so dont have loads of stock left! What will you take with you?

I've working like crazy to get stock made, I have about £2000 worth so far and I'm still making lol.

I just keep worrying I wont have enough. I have a couple of items that are meant for custom orders like cushions but all the rest is there to be sold and then if I run out of certain things I will take orders.

Hopefully I'll sell out lol
