Ok - can you tell that I am annoyed. I have just been up to the PO - I should have realised that iT would be a nightmare cos it is the last day of the month. My car is being repaired for the MOT so I had to go to the one in walking distance, not the nice one that I usually go to.
the queue ws out the door, and then when I got there the chap said that they couldn't take cards as the system was down. They just had a sign saying internet services wre down - not that you couldn't pay. Thank goodness that I had some cash on me to pay my mum back, otherwise I would have been stuffed.
Anyway I ended up without a receipt for half my stuff as the chap jkept asking me to pay after each type of thing had gone through - so I don't have a receipt for a £18.50 special delivery which I sent because the PO had lost the first parcel and the lady needs some of it urgently for her sisters wedding.
its not the only thing that the PO have lost for me recently, and it is getting to be a pain in the buttocks.
Glad that's off my chest, I am now going to :chillpill: and try to get my printer working while DD is asleep.
