Go on dd. Can anyone tell me what these are? Quite ignorant about the modern carrying equipment!
oh GB, i would have been first to pm you. but im now the proud owner of a wrap myself....they are fab xx
can i ask you something though..
i got instructions for it...but i can't find instructions to carry them facing forward. unless its on your side or on your back.....do i use the same instructions as i would to carry them facing you (the wrap cross)??
hope im making sense x
thanks

they look lovely, but I can't buy anymore. Have used my ebay funds, so oops. So am going to sell Ellaroo MT, Fleece Coorie, and erm maybe my Ellaroo hip MT which leaves me with 2 x MT and the Ergo and Ring Sling AngelTails
i can't get my head around all the names lol...
so, can i carry her facing forward in the facing me positions do you think?

yes, but I would imagine the back carry might be better now but it depends on her size. Facing out front or hip ( not sure if you can do that with that wrap)
Have you looked at slingmeet.co.uk there might be someone near you who is a babywearer and can advise

ooh she is just like my dd, she is nice and light, I forgot your dd was like mine

light? she weighs a ton lol..
but looking in the baby books...she weighs the same as ds did when he was about 8 months (what a porker he must have been lol)..
but you do notice the difference in carrying them in a decent sling

you can carry them outwards facing and yes you'd use the same tie, front wrap cross, *but* it's not that great posturally for them, though being that bit older it's not so much of an issue (ie her bones aren't quite so soft.) I'd suggest a hip cross carry if she wants to see what's going on or a high back carry, rucksack or tibetan, so that she can see over your shoulder. I always know if dd's too low on back because she's forever elaning out to the side to see, nosey parker :)
PS you lucky thing being given a wrap!
PPS GB, did you get the hard word? :cheesy:
