Is anyone watching this. This couple are incredible. They have a toddler and one on the way and this is her excuse for not doing a single jot of housework. OK I'm not saying I'm a domestic goddess but if she wants to spend all her time playing with the kid can't she do a bit each night when the kid goes to bed?:angry-smi123 I get so mad at the people on this programme. They are so lazy so they go on this programme and get someone else to clean up their s*** for them. 20061008

ooh no...i got Robbie on!...i do like this programme though..
they must be really bad to admit the state of their house on tele (iykwim)..
gross though. the state people get into..
i can understand it getting so bad that you don't know where to start (i feel like that when i think i have to sort of the kids toys lol) but i couldn't let it get into that state in the first place..
i usually always do my cleaning when the kids are in bed..(ive just washed the floors - on my hands and knees might i add )
i think one extra job a day/night..and you don't notice...one night ironing. next night, cleaning the cooker .etc..
gosh im rambling

I watched it the other week, where some woman had PND & hadn't done any housework for 19 years! *puke* she seemed to think it was the norm, & just shrugged & said it was a bit untidy....A BIT!

Anyhoo, the more I watched of it, the more I was convinced it was a set up, I mean we can all let things slide when we're busy, but to live in squalor? And then to have TV cameras come in & film it & then have your pig sty put on national TV ??? Hmmmmm, I think it's sensationalised for telly. I hope so anyway, cos if people really do live like that, Ewww, I don't even want to think about it.

I agree. Our house is clean (enough) but its messy. The carpet (cream bad idea) needs a really good clean or replacing (when we can afford it) and the cats seem to shed balls of fur all over the place, grrrrr!

But even if we never cleaned anything ever .. it still wouldnt be as disgusting as those people, surely?!

At the end of it the woman was so thrilled that she had a place to sit in the kid's room so she could sit on her lazy backside and watch the kid playing."Doh"

I saw this episode, I love it, I can't understand how you can let your house get that dirty. I'm a messy person but they are in a totally different league!
