Hi

Hi Jen and welcome to Mz and our smallish but getting bigger hobby section.
Your pieces look beautiful, very intricate. Wish I had the patience lol. There are quite a few jewellery makers on MZ so you wont be lonely.

Hi Jen! I am a fellow jewellery maker! It is very addictive isn't it? Is your jewellery wirework? The piece looks lovely, how long did it take you?
Welcome!

Thanks everyone,
Yes, Trinity it is wire, and probably took about 4 hours. Its not so much skill as patience and finding the time. I like your website-great jewellery.

Wow - I love it! That looks fab. I am not great at wire work. I tried to make a collar necklace once but gave up half way through. I think it takes real skill - you obviously have it!

Thanks Chutney
Your beads are unbelievable, i just love them. Some look good enough to eat. Its interesting that no 2 jewellers make similar stuff even if the beads are similar.
I just love working with wire and seed beads, which as you know are really time consuming and fiddly-am not going to make my fortune this way and will probably end up wearing coke bottles! at least I have my mother's bracelets, which are less time consuming and popular.

I also make Jewellery. I just bought a hand torch and love the free evening time I can get to create new pieces. Just showing you one of my bracelets.
Sterling silver wire and a cultures pearls. Lots of work, but I enjoyed myself.

Lovely bracelet - I don't work much with seed beads at the moment, but it's on my long list of 'things to try'! :)

I have just finished a ring in sterling silver with 18K gold and featuring a London blue topaz.
Let me know what you think

AWwww its gorgeous, I'm getting a lamp soon to make my own beads, I can't wait. Hoping to start a silver smith course in September, think it will be a while before I come up with something as beautiful as that.
