Hi All
I was just wondering when you have a business bank account and a customer wants to pay by cheque do they need to make the cheque out to the business name the bank account is registered as or can it be made out to my name?
Thanks!

Hiya,
It has to be made out to whatever the account name is .
So if biz name then that .
If it is you Trading As then still just the trading Name.
Hope this helps !

Hmm well it has my name on my debit card and my business name on my cheques???
The letters they send me say my biz name first then my name followed by So Trading.
So what do you think?

Call your bank and check? I would think the business name, though.
