DP has told me to create a spreadsheet with all my stock so he can bulk upload it (or attempt to bulk upload it) to Google base.
See here:
http://www.google.co.uk/base/help/tab_instructions.html
But where in my spreadsheet do I list the attributes? I can't see them on the screen shots shown.

I think you list the attributes in the column headings across the top row  shrugshoulders111

scroll further down the page on that link you posted and you will see them

Does it matter what order they are in though? I have picked out the ones relevant to my products and added them after the basic ones eg title etc.
I have completed what I have for one product but my head is mashed. I'm off to bed, I'll do some more tomorrow night.
Thanks Tanya.
P.S how is your site coming on?

well with regards to the site, I need Daffs to tweak something for me but I am not bothering her atm because she needs a break and she is not well. Daffs if you are reading this then get off the pc and put your feet up!!
I hope it's ready soon, need to start adding products soon
Thanks for asking Chell

I have the kids making me a Play Doh meal so am going to try to tackle this while I supervise them. FIngers crossed it works.

Let me know how you get on. I wanted to start doing this tonight. Might be asking you lots of questions. Did you put on every product you sell? I find the whole thing very confusing!

I have 2 on there which I did individually but I don't think I did them very well, I don't think I entered labels for them.
I now have 9 in a spreadsheet to try to upload. EDIT: I have uploaded this and it says to check back in 1 hour to see if it has worked. I got a few errors as I went along but these were highligted in red. Fingers crossed this has worked then I can do the rest.

Argh, I had 9 errors, I think I have sorted them but it says I can only do 1 bulk upload per hour so I don;t seem to be able to resubmit it.

When I try to upload it isn't liking my currency, I have tried GBP and gbp as it says but it doesn't like either. Does anyone know what I should put?
Make sure you are in the uk google base .... I tried uploading my items to the american one by mistake!!
http://base.google.co.uk/ <- thats the one you need to use.
Hope that helps

Al1x, I was on that one as you gave me the link. The error description says it supports US Dollars, Sterling etc then gives a link toi get the code. The code says GBP and on the example on google it says gbp. I have tried both and each way it says there is an error.

Update: I gave up on the spreadsheet as I got totally muddled.
I am now uploading them individually and have 7 products on. At last I follow it and am not getting error messages! Only 18 more to do, its so boring.

I used a ready made contribution one only to found out that it's been changed and I had to start all over again (which I haven't been bothered wit yet but need to do as I've been asked loads)

Once you get your head round it all then its actually very easy, just boring. If I didn't keep chatting I would be finished! I'm just not sure if I have added the right labels for each word, I take it these are important?
