The six part series, which begins on Wednesday 16 February at 10pm on ITV1 features Australian clinical psychologist Professor Matt Sanders from The University of Queensland, who has developed a system called ‘Triple P’ which aims to modify and improve children’s behaviour.
The series follows the progress of five families as they put Professor Sanders’ ‘Triple P’ advice into practice and will monitor how this helps parents to manage their children’s behaviour and address common problems such as aggression and tantrums.
The University of Manchester study will run alongside the ITV1 series and those families involved in the experiment will be urged to watch the programmes and try out the ‘Triple P’ techniques being demonstrated.
I'll be watching this!
