It's unique visitors stats you want not hits.Uniques are the ones that buy !
You can have 1000's of hits and still no purchases.

Oh billions.
:cheesy: Pass, around 60 - 120 unique a day. It sometimes rockets if I put a special offer up. I haven't monitored lately, don't have enough time although the mathematician in me LOVES to look at stats :woot: :smiley-fa :woot:

I get on average about 45 unique hits a day. Have had a quiet week for sales though. Need to get out there and promote myself a bit more! I am moving house which doesn't help! Have one big order to do today so that will keep me out of trouble anyway!

I looked at Froogle but the prices were in $'s not £'s even though I was on the .co.uk site.

About 250-300 unique a day at the moment I think. Be nicer if more of them were buying though! About 50 or so are from foreigners and about another 50 are totally unrelavent searches so I suppose the proper number is more like 150-200.

Mine really varies - if I do nothing promotion wise it tends to be around 30-50 unique visitors a day.
All other times it's anything from 60-220 a day in unique visitors. Having said that since Monday the stats have gone nuts because I've listed on eBay - so I'm liking that a lot as they're buying!

Sorry should have put google base as its changed now!

That should have been 20-30 unique visitors a day then!
Can't seem to edit my post from this morning shrugshoulders111

I'm currently getting about 1300 uniques per day (hits are off the scale ) but Silkysteps is a a bit more complex in set up .. so whilst I have an ever growing number of visitors, the free stuff takes up most of their time onsite ... I have to think of ways to get them into the shop and increase the product range :D !

Thanks, just need to remember what DP told e his password for things like that was "Doh" or open an account in my name.
I've just set up a new eBay ID too but their links policy isn't easy to follow, I'm not 100% sure what you are and aren't allowed.

Yay, I've had approx 230 hits in 36hrs and a sale (my 3rd from the site).

Hmm i haven't worked out the averages but yesterday was 31 unique hits, the day before 130 unique hits.( these don't include spiders and bots and whatnots)
Just looked at the monthly numbers - i had a mass of hits during July and August yet they were my quietest months for sales - i expected this - i rather expected sales to pick up in Septemeber onwards - yet i am getting fewer unique hits but slightly more orders - not very many though.
Not sure if this is a good thing or not - i'm not really bothered if i get no unique hits as long as i get more orders.

Hey thats not too bad... do you find your unique visits are going up each month?
When I first started my site was getting less than 10 unique visits a day... and i think 2 of them were my and DP lol

PMSL! Yep they are rising rapidly - at first the majority were from the states, i won't post to the states and trading standards law states that i need to do this and that before i can post to europe although i do have customers in Spain, France and Switzerland - i just post to Uk addresses fro them unless they are a friend.
Last month my Uk unique hits rocketed and by far bypassed the usa hits -
I have better days of the week and it seems to be following a pattern - Monday , Tuesday seem to be the most popular days with Sunday being the quietest. I have certain times of the month too that are usually more busy apart from this month when it was unusuly quiet at my most busiest - this made me think that October was going to be a very poor month and left me feeling a bit low.
I was actually better off not checking my stats but what they do do is allow me to plan my working week - so i know that i need to devote time to orders at certain times, then i have very quiet times when i can order, pack etc - then the rest of the time i can chat ;-)
I don't know why the pattern has been so consistent or what makes folk shop and surf at certain times but they do and at cetain times of the day too - very interesting.
yep i think at first my unique hits was probably me too ;-_ i know that many of the seach words that come up have been me.
I am off to look at your site now - will show it to my dh later.
