Hi
Does anyone know which category you put Pay Pal transactions under in Quick Books?
I have the Simple Start version and I am not sure where to input the info?
It allows you to add accounts do I need to do one just for Pay Pal or is there another to do it?
Thanks!

You need to set up a bank account and call it Paypal - ditto Nochex if you use that. Then when you withdraw money from your paypal account to your biz bank account you just do a transfer in quickbooks.

You need to set up a new bank account - whatever you do don't download them from paypal into quickbooks.
I did this and it duplicated everything.

In Quickbooks there is a "transfer" option in the banking menu. So once a customer has paid you by paypal and you log onto paypal and withdraw the money to your buisness bank account, you would then go into quickbooks and select transfer and fill in the details to make sure your accounts tally with what you have done.

How do you record pay pal transactions in quick books when you have paid via your bank or credit card through pay pal?
Do I just list it or do I have to do it another way?
Thanks so much!

it's entirely up to you! As long as you know what's gone in and come out the exact route isn't that important.

Quick books - is this the on-line accounts? I have been thinking about setting this up, is it any good and easy to use?

Hi,
Quickbooks is an accounting software program. If you go to http://www.intuit.co.uk - they have information about the various versions.
