"Doh" Well TMB is a party plan business which sells a range of baby, mum-to-be and toddler products. You can be a consultant (full party plan), associate (just sell to friends & family) or Christmas Angel (just join for the xmas period)
"If you're looking for a flexible, part-time job, a way of supplement your existing income or even a life-changing business opportunity this could be the break you've been waiting for.
Earn 15% or more commission on everything you sell
You can choose from a great range of product kits to get you started
You choose how many parties you do and when you do them*
Full training provided on all products as well as useful selling tips
Earn points for our fabulous "Candy Rewards" Scheme
If you want you can build a team and earn commission on their sales too
There is great earning potential available to you in party organising, but it doesn't end there...
* Many of our consultants are mum's (and dad's) who have great family responsibilities, and in many cases careers too. We appreciate that every consultant wants something different from being a Truly Madly Baby consultant; some want a hobby, a way to earn a bit of extra pocket money, and some want to build a team and make a career out of it.
For this reason Truly Madly Baby does not have an aggressive sales attitude; There are no targets and no high pressure sales campaigns, we provide you with as much or as little assistance as you need for you to get what you want from working with us"
If you want anymore info just give me a shout

I can't think straight at the mo Tanya, would it be allowed to advertise the products on a shopping cart website for people to buy through the shopping cart website's own store? (Do you get my drift?)

Well I would say yes but I contacted Usborne Books to find out about selling and what the requirements are for a website - and have contacted them on other occasions and havent once had the courtesy of a return email - which isnt your fault gingerbam please dont think Im saying that. I do think its really rude of them though.
I would certainly be interested in knowing if I could be recruited through you and what the requirements are now for selling through a website.
Many Thanks
Toni

Hi there
Just logging on, not been here much recently (and please can i point out i'm not trying to 'steal' a recruit...) Just wanted to let you know how Usborne work internally when people request info... The contact details of the person requesting information is sent out to organisers who then call/email direct... so it may be that a certain individual organiser has been given your details and will contact you as soon as they can...
Having said that, if it were me I'd go with someone I felt comfortable with, so if you already know gingerbam/gemmum i would certainly put her details as your recruiter and you will become part of their team. they will then support you, and yes gain some commission of your sales... If you do decide to go with one of the girls you know, don't be bulldozed (not that i think you're the kind of person who would be!) by the person who calls - unless it's me of course!! LOL
HTH

Also meant to say...
The website issue... Usborne have today released templated websites and you can sell online through them... I've just set mine up so if you want to see what it looks like I can send you the link (liz@thatsnotmymonster.co.uk)
They look really quite impressive I reckon... very corporate but with the option to change lots of it...
Anyway, hope that's helped...

Ditto, to what Lizp says, this is my second attempt at being an Usborne Rep, and I ahve to say my "recruiter" this time around is fab, she gives me lots of support and keeps in contact, but she did take a while to contact me, not sure why, having said that she is always there and is very enthusiatic.
I can try to help, I'm no expert as I do have a day job and 3 children so fit in selling books around that. Happy to help where I can or can point you in the direction of someone else, even if it means I don't get any money. It all depends on what is best for you. Ask yourself, how much time do I want to give to this? How much can I do? It is fun and you are able to do as little or as much as you want. The biggest danger of course is yourself and how much will power you have not to buy all the book for yourself !
