There is a company doing phone calls today telling how successful their children's book campaign has been and how you have agreed to pay for x number of books etc.
They tried this on me last year and I told them in no uncertain terms to go away.
This year I said to the guy - "excuse me but I never agreed to anything so please stop calling me". He got very rude and said "Umm excuse me but you agreed to pay for x amount on such and such a date" I said "no I think you will that I did not and you are lying as you tried this on last year so I suggest you go away and stop calling me" and then I hung up on him.
They have tried this on a lot of people and trying to con you. If you ask them for a copy of the signed agreement with them, they won't be able to produce it.
I hope this helps someone steer clear of them. I can't remember the name of the company but it's to do with some book campaign that involves advertising within local schools.
