Hi

i am in the process of putting together some xmas hampers - my intitail ones are aimed at babies (from birth to 1 really). This is the plan:

a lined wicker basket containing:
bath book
cloth book
touchy feely book
matching cudley toy
then wrapped in celeophane with a nice big bow.

The price for this would be £23...i think

do you think this is something which would appeal? I am also considering doing a luxuray hamper which could include a lullabies book and cd.

My other thoughts are to produce a preschool hamper - with flashcards, numbers and letters kind of thing, again aiming around the £25 mark. wondering what to package these in though as basket won't really appeal - anyone sell anything which may be suitable?

Do you think these are the right sort of amounts people spend on gifts?

Any thoughts greatfully recieved
Gemma

that seems a good idea, maybe you could do a budget one aswell

I think that's a good idea it would be a great present for an Auntie or Uncle to buy or for a ready made christmas stocking set. I agree a smaller budget one to compliment those would be good if you can do it.

Thanks for your feedback :D

I am waiting for delivery of some items and will then package them up and get some pickies done. I like the idea of a budget one and think this will be do-able...about the £15 mark.

I'm hoping that if presented nicely people will see it as a complete gift rather than just a stocking filler which is what i think people usually think of books as.

Will be back with pictures in a few days :crossfing
