Sounds good - trouble is I don't usually get to see these type of programmes (Little Angels/Super Nanny etc) cos I don't get the chance to sit down usually until after 10 when ds is finally in bed!!!!

It was interesting Caren, but , and Im probably going to get shot down for this, I thought the kids on there just seems slightly more of a handful than my two, who are normal, cheeky, restless kids.

Comparing them to programmes Ive seen before about ADHD they didnt seem that bad :( and I felt it was more to do with poor parenting than any 'condition'

Just my opinion

Well no toni i agree , the lad liam his Attention was small and reminded me of my lewis but i also thought maybe if the label was'nt there then the parents might of been abit firmer too just because a child has a label you don't stop putting them on the right road now .

Its about enabling the child not disabling it because its got disabities

Wow i was thinking the same as you two, wasn't sure i dared to say it though!!

What shocked me was the mother of the two 'ADHD' kids, her son called her a bitch and she was like, there's no point telling him off as he wont listen, well has she tried it?? lol. Sorry but if a child of mine, ADHD or not, called me that there's no way i'd let them get away with it! Although they seemed to calm down when she used the token system which is a good thing, but i didnt like the way she talked to her kids at all really.

A few things reminded me of ds, like the other little boy refusing to hold his mums hand and running off, ds does that a lot.

Very interesing though!

Thanks ladies !!

I cant understand why the Wigan family were so relieved when he was 'given a label' I guess it takes some of the 'blame' off them?!

I must admit i have 3 disabled children I'v never once been called bitch cow or anything to that effect because labeled or not there nothing wrong in teaching your children this is WRONG
