I've got no water and no cooker at the mo and everything is everywhere, I hate it:ac39: Dh is very good and doing it all himself and properly I must add, me I'd just do as much as I had to and be done with it, at least I know he's doing a good job.

aww ruthie hang in there it must be awful to have so much mess everywhere and feel a bit lost in your own home.. Im hoping (if all goes to plan) that I will finaly get a kitchen real soon too...

Current kitchen has no opening windows...spiders and bugs and nasty smells of damp everywhere.. no space to put anything ..when I cook it turns the kitchen into an oven! I dont cook much rightnow..in winter its like being in the freezer.. I can deffo sympathise with you as when I moved into this house I used a wooden trolley as my worktop a bucket for washing dishes and the taps were direct pipes plumbed in for the washing machine lol sounds awful! it was.. lived off pot noodles and microwave anything and takeaways..
