Finally getting round to redecorating this house, the woodchip wallpaper in the hall way was really starting to annoy us, so we're halfway there to ripping it all off. Now we're going to try and do this house up in a 1930's style but with a modern twist. The one thing I'm having trouble with is finding out what paint colours were popular in the mid 1930's.

We know what sort of light switches and electric sockets we're hopefully getting http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/VLXCT1.html?utm_source=shopping.com

Just need some more 1930's inspiration
