ruben is a big baby and i don't know, but he must have REALLY fat feet... :unsure: because all the normal baby shoes that are the right length are not wide enough... so it's either no shoes, or clown-shoes... the only shoes i've been able to get him are one particular style of soft ones, but they were rather pricey, and at the rate he's growing... well...

did a google search and found this pattern for baby shoes. made a "test" pair today for no money at all, using scrap bits of denim from an old pair of jeans, and lined them with material from an old t-shirt! now i know the sizing is right and the pattern is great i will go out and buy a piece of nice soft leather to make him a sturdier pair for autumn and winter!

maybe i should post a link to this thread in the budgeting part as well, it's a great way of saving money!!!

I think they look really good, I'm nots so good at making things and don't have sewing machine anymore
