Thank you Katiequiggle!
I went out this arvo and went round loads of shops and couldnt find any scrapbooking papers!! :hissyfit:
Had to improvise and bought some other paper and card that i found!
Done the front cover of a small note book as my practice one (looks naff compared to the ones i have seen though)
I couldnt believe that nowhere had any proper scrapbooking material though!

Simone- if you go to the shopping section on ukscrappers then there are laods of shops there selling 12 x 12 paper adn card for scrappingh.
Your Layouts don't have to be 12 x 12 though- you can sscrapbook any size you want

That is how I came across this web site in the first place. I decided to make a scrap book on recipies that I would use. Rather than looking through my dozens of books in search of a receipe.
I was looking for cornflake tart of all things. My husband said that was his favourite at school. Somebody had posted a receipe for it on here. He was made up with his surprise, a great success. I cut receipies out from magazines and download them from various sites. I start from the front with savouries and work from the back with sweets. I really enjoy doing it.
My next project is to cut out local newpaper reports of my home town. The town has changed so much over the years. I want to keep a copy of what the town is like now to my children when they grow up.
