We've been offered a new kitten, we already have a female cat, new one is a ginger kitten, now I always thought that only toms were ginger but dh says not also that if its a tom it will spray everywhere but I though if you had them done they didn't do this, can someone please enlighten me?

We had a ginger female once, they are very rare though.

Ginger cats don't spray any more than any other cat once neutered. And ginger cats are sooo friendly.

My male ginger cat doesn't spray. We have had him done, but he didn't before hand.:crossfing

my mums cat has been done and the only time he sprays is if next doors cat has weed in their porch. then he does tend to go on the front door mat, but other than that he doesnt at all.

however, her ginger tom doesnt spray at all. never has before or after his job.

nettys hubby is right, hes the most affectionate of the two. loves a cuddle and purrs at the slightest touch.
