Did you start any books last year and not finish them? I seem to be getting worse and easily distracted by other books if I don't get a book...

Three I started and didn't finish in 2004

1. Life of Pi (Blueberry - I think you read this and encouraged by your comments I will give it another go .... this year)

2. The Reading Group

3. Coastliners (which surprised me because I really liked Joanne Harris' other books)

Don't seem to get the time to sit down and concentrate on a book now, for some reason ...

I know there are a couple of books I started last year and didn't finish - but can't remember what they were!

One was "The Curious Incident of the Dog ..." - not because I didn't find it interesting or easy to read, I just put it down somewhere one day and .... (must have a tidy behind the chair in the corner .....!

The other was a Terry Pratchett - he is one of my fave authors, so not sure why I never finished it.

I normally finish one book before buying another, but there's one book I didn't get past chapter two, "The Iranians". It document the history and political outlook on Iran, and I'm interested in Iran because I was named after the Iranians and their ousted leader the Shah Reza Pahlavi (thanks to my idiot sister, she was 19 when I was born and "very creative" :angry-smiley-044: ). It was interesting, but I guess I just have very short attention span on non-fiction now that I'm no longer in school :D . Will give it another go soon.
