tess my dog had a very sore paw when i woke up this morning she was hoping about and didnt move very much just sat most of the day ive had a look at the paw but couldnt see anything that might be causing the limping now ive just put my bin out and she didnt follow VERY unusual for her now im worried anyone any advice?

no, sorry...do her nails/claws look ok?
sorry, i don't own a dog...have you looked in between her paws? maybe a bit of grass or something sticking in..
probably really rubbish advice...id wait for someone else's advice before you go prodding lol :unsure:
hope she gets better soon....can you get free vet care?

do you have a pdsa vet centre? have a look on here: http://www.pdsa.org.uk/page311.html to see if theres one in your area. if you claim any benefits, then you can just make a donation.

oh i remeber now £3 to pdsa thats right i think my vets is actually a pdsa centre will ring up tomorrow if its still bad tomorrow thanks whassat

sorry just seen this, have u ckecked right in between the pads? if not, r there any scratches on the pads?

how old is she hun ?
if she is old is it poss she has fallen and twisted her leg as my girl is nearly 15 and has done this a few times
has she been stung or bitten by something ?
any broken glass about
has a child stood on it

i hope you get it sorted hunxxxxxx

checked her between the paws and nothing there and no scratches she's only 3 eea so cant see her falling and twisting it although anything is possible

she has just got up and now seems able to put some pressure on it so hopefully its healing

Is she holding her foot up when she's standing still giving the impression that the pad is sore?

Does she yelp/cry if you bend the leg at the joints...? if she does this could indicate that she's twisted it somehow, if not then it seems more likely that it's the pad.

You should be able to get a free examination from the vets, if any tablets are prescribed then you'll have to pay though.

i think its the pad she seems a lot better than before though unfourtanetly cant take her to the vets today but if no better tomorrow will defenitly take her
