Don't talk about it, we got involved a few years ago with all that, when I went back to full time work took them ages to stop bothering me.

I can't remember, dh usually does ours, and usually they're in the last batch of photocopying that we do before dashing to the tax office at stupid o'clock on deadline-night, lol

I've got to do mine and I have absolutely no idea where I've put it or what to do when I find it. It's the first one I've ever done.

LOL Imagine if you have to do these everyday of your life because it's your job to do the accounts, fill in all kinds of returns and other silly forms, I must be a fool to do this as a job

I'm on a Inland Revenue self assessment workshop tommorrow. I went to a book keeping one on Tuesay where I learn't loads about what I can claim against my tax! Tommorow they show me exactly how to complete the form!

I'm planning on buying a new 4x4 which I'll use for advertising, all tax deductable (well about 80%)

Lisa, the workshops are really good and you get a handy workbook to take home with you, I've been on a few of the PAYE workshops in the past

Done mine, took ages to get all the paperwork together and troll thru it - and find the time to sit down and actually do it but once I did, I filed online.

In envelope ready to be posted (oh and I've folded the envelope they provided in half as I refuse to go and buy a large letter stamp for it :hysterica ) I fell out with the online thingy last year!

Oh dear, is on-line really bad? I am going to do all mine on-line. I am a bit lost and I am definitely going to attend a workshop to help me out with next years.

When we had to do them, a few years ago, I filed them online - put info on the paper form first and then copied from that - although the online bit was easier I thought as it automatically went to the next relevant section.

So glad someone mentioned this. I've started the online form (filled in name etc..) and then got distracted. I'm going to go back now and get myself sorted out!
wish me luck.

We're filing all our clients' returns online this year iirc, because we've had so many lost in the internal IR post in the past.

um nope LOL

Normally get round to it in January!

I remember a few years ago DH and I both sat down and did them on New Years Eve!

I am not the most organised for the adminy / accounts stuff...

:D Sadie
