just got my lovely silky bamboozle nappy today! It is so soft and silky, I've got it because Dd has had really bad nappy rash and I'm going to use it at night, bamboo is susposed to be really good for night time use, got a wahm one coming later this week.

Not sure what booster to use yet and have got a ME wrap.

i have never used cloth nappies! Tbh i have no idea where to start and the whole thing is REALLY confuseing - i didnt ever believe that there were any other type apartt from the towling squares that mum used to use, thats one of the main reasons that i have never used them - the huge fear of stabbing baby with a nappy pin!!

you can get nappy nippas now to fasten the nappy!

There are some really nice terry ones, Old fashoned type and you can use nappy nippas with them so no pins to stick in to you or baby!

I can only really use Fuzzi Bunz as Dd goes to a childminder and dh won't use anything else

too late for you isn't it??

twinkle on the web has some good info also people rave about the nappy lady

I just browse cloth nappy forums and nappy websites and pick up bits and pieces. Think sometimes it is trial and error with what suits you. Its a good idea always to start with second ones just in case you don't get on with what you buy.

The start up cost can be quite high with cloth/real nappies, but they last longer and you can re-sell them if the condition isn't too bad.

I wish I knew what the nappies was like before i had little ds, saw my friends ones today and they looked so lovely and cuddly, her little boy is the same age as thomas and in nappies but they just looked lovely on the line, aeroplane designs, etc, she did admit that she has a bit of a fetish for buying more whan she sees them but i dont blame her they are sooo lovely better than the terry towelling ones we had when big ds was little
