Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like killing DH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20061008 :angry-smi123 Can you believe this, he lost my stinking wallet at the hypermarket just now!!! Angry is such an understatement for me ATM, because the first and last time I've lost my wallet was 10 years ago (due to my own negligence) and I've learnt my lesson and have been very very careful with my wallet after that! Anyways, DH have managed to lose a small amount of money, my identity card, DS's identity card, my driving license, my free train pass, my ATM card, credit card, my yoga card and various other membership cards... AAARRRGHHHHHHH can I just screammm!!!! I don't have any money on me ATM, I have to bloody go and make the police report tomorrow in order to get all my documentations back, and next week I have to go sort out all those other things, at the registration department, motor vehicles, bank, etc etc etc... And did you know I have to pay a hefty fine for losing my identity card (not sure if I have to pay for DS's as well though)... AAARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! :ac39: Do you want to know how he lost it? Well I put my wallet inside the wee bag together with DS's nappy, water bottle, wet tissue etc. As I was running around after DS, I told DH to take care of my bag, so he hung it on the shopping cart. As we got to the car, I hauled DS in, and DH unloaded all the stuff. And once we reached home I casually asked him "Where's my bag?" and he smacked his forehead (well I felt like smacking more than his bloody forehead) so we drove back to the hypermarket and we only managed to find the bag with all the stuff inside except for the wallet. My wallet with all the documents inside! AAARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Oh no! I can just imagine what you feel like doing to him!!

I assume you did check with security in the store? Could always hope someone took it in for safekeeping? Bit of a long shot though.

Yeah he's feeling very dreadful but I keep harping on and on about the hassle in order to make him feel veryyy guilty and yeah I feel like giving him a round of the frying pan. If we had a doghouse he would've been sent there, but we don't, so he's sleeping in the living room. I've managed to cancel my credit card, but the 24-hour ATM hotline isn't being picked up (I forced DH to keep on calling and I went to sleep  ) so will try again when the hours are more decent. Later this morning we will go and do the police report and after that he's getting me a new wallet which is going to cost a bomb! No wonder I've been very interested at wallets lately, been looking at a bunch of them but ended up not buying as my lost one was pretty new.

We tried checking with the mart security, but they're a bit hopeless though... We think one of those workers rounding up the shopping carts might've taken it but we got no proof.

Grrrrrrrr... :angry-smi123

:cheesy: Hmmmm.....That's men for you though..nowhere near as efficent as us women!!! lol!
I would be rather p'd off if my hubby had done that, but I think I would of stopped short of sending him to the sofa. I am too soft with him for my own good though and he knows it. As for ringing round everywhere, I would do that as well to make sure it got done right!!
Believe me though, he would have to pay the price for his mistake. Not sure how though......"Doh"

LOL he is already half-way through making it up to me - he got me a new wallet which cost him RM140.00 :cheesy: . He's gotta go to the police next to get verification for my report (which I couldn't get on Saturday as it was a weekend) while I go to work in peace, and then he's coming with me to the registration department so as to enable him to settle off all the fines with regards to my and DS's lost IDs :party05: ...

Meanwhile I am very much cashless and have to depend on him for some money!
