...Are you a believer or do you think its all a big scam???

I had my cards read last night and a lot of the things he said i was really impressed with. He never asked me any questions just told me to say either yes or no. He described my relationship down to a t, and told me we would be split by the end of August. We actually split up that night. He also said that i wouldnt be devistated about it as i had knew it had been coming for a long time and was prepared for it, so true!

He then went on to say that he didnt like the house i was in at the moment as it was giving off a lot of bad vibes (we wasnt there at the time we was at a mates house) he also said my children don't like it. Now my son hates this house we are in, he refuses to sleep in his room and will only sleep with me. we have to have all lights on and he wont go into another room without me. We are due to move soon though.

He also told me that i was going to be having a baby girl and she would come in November (im not due till xmas eve) He said she would be coming early but it will be nothing to worry about as she will be fine. He told me this before he knew i was expecting.....i was already sat at the table when he arrived and with the clothes i had on he wouldnt of been able to tell by looking at me.

He said loads of other things that rang true to me too and also some that i am to watch out for.....but to be honest there is still something at theback of my mind telling me its all a big con lol

What are your thoughts?? have you had yours done before and if so did it all come true??

I think some people may have this gift but that they are very few and far between.

my auntie does it, but never had it done so cant say (she wont do it for family)
She also claims to be psychic (sp) , and from some of the stuff she's said, i cant give an explanation of how she could have known. She's predicted alot of stuff before we ever had an idea.

Had mine done at about 13. I am 28 now.
Told me I would marry twice, which I have and have 3 children, inc a girl which I would lose. (She lives with her Dad, and I haven't seen her in 5 yrs). Thought it was hysterical at the time, as I couldn't imagine any of it happening.
It was a mates mum that did it, never told her she was right though, although she will know it as she would be unbearable and go around telling everyone she has the gift!!!!!!
Not a believer, but it is kind of spooky!

Good luck with the baby Linzi by the way!

I agree with Ruthie. I definately believe in it, but the people with true abilities are few and far between. I think it is easy for anyone to pick up a pack of tarot cards and 'read' for somebody.

I had mine read 4 months before meeting dp!

Nearly everything i was told has turned out more or less true. Down to where i'd meet dp, that i'd have two miscarriages following the birth of a child (my daughter) all sorts of things. However it was just a freind of a freind practising.

I'd love to have one done now... i can see the sceptical side as many of them are good with their homwork - especially if they seem to be concentrating on the present or past.

I still find it fascinating....

I firmly belive in them BUT then i read them myself, so any dubious people wnat a free on,line read be happy to do it!

It's not really a gift as such reading tarot cards is a talent, you learn from the book, grow and meditate with the cards and you begin to understand them. Everyone person is psychic and everyone person has intuition. Tarot cards are intuitive. I have read them since I was twelve started out as fun but soon realised I've yet to be wrong! I have premontion dreams too! LOL But I would never say I was a fully fledge clairvoient or medium!

Some people play on it think it's easy money, I'm usually dubious about people who charge alot of money that are not well known, if you do it it's a love for councilling and humanity, cos thats basically what you do!

I've said before on here to, Nothing is written in stone it simply lights a tunnel to help you se the end!

i believe in the cards and clairvoient i havent had a full reading since my mum died not sure if i'd get obessed (wanting to hear from my mum to much)iynwim but my last reading was when my mum was ill i didnt tell the lady and she told me my mum had difficult in breathing and even where her tumer was i didnt no where it was untill my mum told me a little later she was spot on but there a lot of fakes out there sadly,

I had them done by the same bloke 6 months ago and i have to say everything he told me has happened, except 2 things, and he told me that my cousin would loose her baby and it would be a boy. She did lose one (lived for 11 hours) but it was a girl.

I think the thing that got me thinking is the fact he told me someone would be going to the dentis very soon.....i had been telling everyone as he walked in that my son was at the emergancy dentist that night and he heard me telling them he had cracked a tooth...... everything else he couldnt of known but just that one thing got me wondering.

I do believe that some people have a gift and would like to have a reading done by someone genuine. But the one time i did have a reading done was with a woman who didn't nothing she said was right and it was all sweeping observations that weren't accurate. If i were braver i would have refused to pay her.

Have had it done a few times, some were not good but one lady who is very popular and you have to book up months in advance was good.
It wasn't long after my dad had died and she said that I was wearing some of his clothing, which I was - his socks! She also said that my mum who had also died had said that my DH and I 'were a good team' which is a saying that was definitely my mums. A few other things I can't recall now, but I thought she was very good.
I still sit on the fence with it all a bit, but that's me by nature, a doubting thomas!!

Hey all,

I would love to develop my mediumship I can do pschometry (readings by holding objects!) This takes a bit more concentration and I only get little little snippets of infomation! As I have Kaya I can't go out very easily in evenings and most spiratual churches open services and training 7.30 ish in eve!

I can do a reading online via msn hotmail or yahoo. will do by web cam so you can see cards if ya wnat as well. As long as I have peace and quiet so Ie: evenings when Kaya has gone to sleep! I've done readins over phone to strangers and I often do online readins for my mates.

So I'd be happy to do them I love the practise and love the point of knowing hoping I've helped someone!

However! I'm not a medium so I don't get messages from beyond and family memebrs occasionally something random will come to my head, But alot of what you all are talking about in mediumship! Alot of tarot readers are mediums too, which enhances there abilities. As i said breifly something I'd love to be able to do to strengthen my readings!

I have never had my cards read but I worked with this lady once who was temping at our place, she did my birth chart and she just knew everything, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Whilst she was doing the chart she looked at me and started to get really distressed and told me that 2 things were going to happen, she wouldn't tell me what it was but I could tell by her eyes that it was not good news. She went off and cried and barely spoke to me again and left the job a couple of weeks later.

About six months later my dad who had been fighting a brain tumour for 9 years started get ill again and had to go to hospital and that was when I remembered the reading with this lady, for some reason I knew that something was going to happen to my dad and he never recovered from that operation, 14 months later my grandad who was quite a fit man, was playing golf which he had done for 55 years had a heart attack on the 14th green and couldn't be ressucitated. That was the 2 things that she knew was going to happen but couldn't tell me.

I wish I could find her and talk to her but as she worked with a circus and was from Bulgeria she could be anywhere by now.

sorry for hijacking this post a little bit but I just wanted to share that with you all and tell you that I do believe that some people naturally have a gift

I don't really believe in tarot cards. But some of the stuff on here is spooky.

Weirdest thing that has happened to me is......I dreamt a school friend of mine had died in a car crash one night, found out the next day that he had. In the dream he said to me, he was fine and happy, and that as his partner died too he was happy they were together. He also said he was giving the same message to other people who had mattered in his life. We had been great mates, but fell out when he wanted to take things further, I already had a dp. This was in secondary school mind. But we did make up, and hang out a few times before he died. Thankfully!
Found out from a mate that knew him a few years later, that she, his siter and his young niece had all had the same/similar dream. His niece was only 3-5 I think, and told everyone that she had seen him in a dream, she didn't even know he was gone, as the family were telling her the next day. She also said that he was glad his mum had bought him a new scarf, and that it would be nice to keep him warm. His mum had bought a new scarf on the day he died, they buried him with it.
I hope the friend who told me this wasn't talking crap, as it was and still is a rather comforting thought. Spooky though.

Never had cards done but used to go to see a lady when i lived in Washington. She used to be a clairvoyant/spiritualist woman who used to take a piece of your jewellry and do a reading. She was amazing, was sat at one point muttering under her breathe, calling names etc and said that my partners (now ex) parents used to keep him in the dark, (they locked him in a cuboard) and not feed him, treat him like a dog bsically. Its not the kind of thing they usually come out with!! (all true!!)

She also told me that i was pregnant, i was only a month gone so no signs.

She doesnt do it anymore unfortunately, i knew of about 3 or 4 girls who used to go see her regular and a bloke. She once told a mate of mine she would hurt herself moving furniture, acouple weeks later she dropped the remote down the back f the couch and had to move it to reach it and her her back!!!

Freaky!!

I had a similar experience to Siouxie as a child. I'd been very close to my granda (mums dad) and he died very suddenly at 54 (while making the roast for dinner) when I was 2. A couple of weeks after he passed I came downstairs and told my mum that I'd been playing with granda the previous night. Mum explained that I couldn't have but I was very insistant so she asked what had happened, I told her that we'd played with my toys for a while and he'd told me to tell my granny not to worry, he was fine. Mum didn't think too much about it until a few years later when she was watching tv and saw a programme about how children are more psychic then adults, so she got thinking about what happened. When she thought about it she realised that what I had said wasn't something 2 yo's come out with, so rang my granny and told her. Granny fell out with her!!!! She said that if granda was going to appear to anyone that it would have been me because we'd been so close, she wished mum had told her sooner but said she still took great comfort in the message I had for her.
Granny passed away when I was 15, after she'd taken a stroke. I was with her until 3 hours before she passed and mum was with her at the end, she said that until about 1/2 hour before she passed granny kept looking at the corner of the room and saying 'Not yet', but was trying to smile when she said it. I know in my heart that granda came for her.

AWww those are some lovely stories. Should have a post just for these sort of things! I've had quite a few experiences, won't go into them too much though! the lady who took jewellery was doing psychometry thats what i hav started being able to do BUT only snippets off information. The first time I did this I was actually at a psychic fare and they made us all stand up and take something off of a stranger. I took a mans watch and closed my eyes and felt like an idiot. Imagine how much more of an idiot i felt when i said i'd seen a rabbit and felt a really strong fear factor. When I finally had the guts to tell the chap. He was amazed said he had a rabbit but he was terrified of it cos it kept attacking him! Seems the rabbit was attacking cos it was as scared as the bloke! That was a bit amazing. The next time I did it for a friend and saw a cruise going abroad and a shopping trolley rolling really fast with her partner in it! We both laugehd at the time
BUT it turned out her partner and her took a last minute day trip to france and he was messing about on a trolley, Guess what got carried away and broke his ankle! LOL happened a few times and I'm working on improoving it!

I don't know what to think about this. I went a few years ago with my best friend, we went in seperately, her first while I waited then vice versa.

With me, she got everything wrong, she couldn't have been further off the mark with everything she said, but with my mate she got loads spookily right. Even to the point of telling her to check the back right tyre on her car as it was nearly bald!:smiley-fa

BTW, Her car was 4 miles away, outside her house, we had gone there in a taxi so we could go for a few drinks after.

That was weird.

When I was 12-13 I dreamt sitting in my nan's living room down in Kent. We live in Scotland. She was tired and just before she fell asleep she said she was so tired and that everything would be fine now. Then she dozed off. I woke up at the back of 6am to the phone ringing, it was my Granny, my Nan her Mum, had died and she had just called us as soon as she had got off of the phone to the hospital who rang to tell her.
Did dream a few years ago, my ex's Granny who I liked enormously died, but have never followed that up as me and him have lost touch. She was a great woman, like my Nan.
Miss my Nan enormously even now, I cry and think of her everytime I hear Nan's song by Robbie Williams!!

i think it depends on the person and whether you have a feeling with the person doing the reading.. all i know is that yesterday i felt really odd just before and during the reading, wierd and really hard to explain... kind of like something or someone was with me, looking inside me.... i dont suppose that makes any sense at all, but it did feel very spiritual for want of a better explaination....

Had it done a couple of times, but am still a bit sceptical , i must lead or am going to lead a very boring life cos when me and my friend went, the lady was with me for about 20 mins and with my friend for over an hour, it was the usual, stuff, get married, have kids, i can see an old man 'could it be your grandfather' etc. etc.

One woman we went to was absolutely p#ssed so we didn't really hold much belief in what she had to say :cheesy:
if it gives some people comfort then no harm done.

When i had mine done the other day my friend also had hers done and the guy who did the reading suggested she go to our local spiritualist church as she had just lost her gran. We went on sat night, she asked me to go with her for support. It's not something either had been to before but it was really nice. Only the first person the lady came to was myslef! i must admit i was quite embarrased to start with but both my gran my granddad and my dads cousin all came through.

She described my grandad down to a t, even down to his fave cardigan that he always wore. She also wanted to tell me some things as 'proof' She asked me if a white rose meant anything to me....it is my fave flower and the one i put in granddads coffin with him when i visited the chappel of rest. Also she said she was getting butterfly feelings in her tummy and asked if anyone around me was having stomach problems. There isnt but i am pregnant as she said that would be it. Also the song sweet 16. My grandad used to sing that to me all the time when i was younger, we used to go out dancing with him and he always got them to play that song for me.

I have to say i was pretty amazed by it. I often get the feeling like the hairs on my head are standing on end, an almost tickling sensation all over my head. I have done for a few years now but never thought anything of it. She told me i would get this feeling whenever the spirits are around me and not to be frightend of it.

I did feel sorry for my mate though as her gran never did come through....and i only went with her so support! we are going back this week though as the whole service was lovely.

Just had mine done over MSN and alot of it was weirdly freaky! On the nail and so true!

I feel comforted, more balanced and ready to get myself in perspective.

It wasn't all flowery and full of GOOD positive things - which made it even better!! But wasn;t full of anything disastrous or frightnengly worrying either (apart from a birth or baby....lol)
