kate is a fab person to ask.. she recommended some plain cards, some bits to make it pretty, some glue, a computer for printing out words and things and a craft knife..
The children and i are having some fab fun following basic principles and really cheap bits and bobs from wilkinsons - shiny card, foam letters and shapes, some present tie stuff and pritstick or pva type glue.....

Alison if you have "The Range" near you go there they have loads of reasonably priced cardmaking stuff.

Look out for the big packs of card blanks they are great prices! Oh and they do starter kits as well for adults! ;)
