well we wasnt until we went to town today to visit grandma and on the way there was a rabbit hutch in someones drive free for collection, so picked it up and then dd said which one of my rabbits is going in it, was all ready to put one in it after we had cleaned it then we saw a sign in the local shop for baby lops a tenner each, so maybe we might get another rabbot, dd was moaning but most of the time we end up feedin her rabbits and the next one will be mine

Reading about your rabbits made me think and laugh to myself. When smirnoff was a lot younger she and her younger sister wanted a rabbit each so we went travelling around looking for signs at the roadside "rabbits for sale". Well, we finally found one with a telephone number which I called just to be told they had three left and ,although they weren't going to be in, we could go and help ourselves and post the money through the door. Well, when we got there they decided it would be unfair to leave one on its own and, as we had been told they were all of the same sex, we decided to take all three. After a time we persuaded dh to build ahouse in blocks with a large run. After a few days we noticed they were burrowing like rabbits do. Shortly after, well a matter of a few weeks I suppose, we were due to go on holiday and whilst I was hanging out the washing I happened to look at the rabbits. Why I have no idea and I noticed a lot of what I thought were tissues blowing about in the run and I was getting ready to have a go at one and all about throwing tissues away instead of putting them in the bin when I went up closer to investigate to make sure it was actually tissues when I realised the mistake I had made. It certainly wasn't tissues. It was loads of baby white rabbits frolicking in the sun. Same sex be blowed. It didn't take a scientist to realise we had a male or two amongst the original three but which one. Talk about sex education lessons for smirnoff and her sister. We had to take one away and see what had happened and we had to watch the other two. Well, it was their rabbits after all and I certainly had a hundred and one other things to do so it was up to them to sit and watch the antics of these rabbits until the male one was discovered. I don't remember how many baby rabbits we had until we discovered. So beware of putting two or three or more together.
