Adding a Ticker

Helloo. Hope this is the right place to ask but how do I add a ticker? God I must be so dim, I bet its soo simple!:confused:

Go to one of the sites (or click on someones ticker in their sig) and follow their instructions.

You'll need the bb code - copy it and then paste it into the signature section in your user control panel.

Just shout if you need any more help.

lol...i think i know :unsure: when you go to get your ticker. you get a few different codes to click on to copy the ticker onto the site (copy the code and paste in your signature)...the first code usually isn't the one you need..its the bb code...but thats all i know...couldn't tell you what bb stands for or anything :laugh:

It's the first choice (edit signature) when you click on User CP.

Then I think you can paste your code in there?? I think. Not really sure why I'm replying to this when someone far more competent could tell you for sure!! :laugh:

Hiya Jerseygirl. Welcome to MZ :party05:

You have to make a certain amount of posts before you can add a signature, not sure if it's 10 or 20.

Once you've done that, the edit signature option will appear in your CP.

A ticker is what some of the members have in their signatures. They can be for different things such as showing how many months pregnant you are, the weight you have lost, how old your child is and also dates such as anniversaries, christmas etc.

Have you just passed the 20 posts? You have to have 20 posts and then the forum updates hourly to the next member group.
