It started to play up last Friday the night before we were due to drive back from Devon :ac39: anyway I joined the RAC just incase and it's been playing up all week so booked it in to be fixed on Monday. I rushed of to weightwatchers this morning and it conked! I put my hazards on and rushed off to get weighed (lost 1.5lbs :D). My Dad came and towed me home and fitted a new part but it's still not working :(
We are supposed to be going to an 18th birthday party tonight and the kids are looking forward to it, not sure what to do.

Yes we know exactly what it is and we've put a new part in. Diesel cars have a manual pump thing and that's what had gone, you have to bleed them to get the air out and the fuel flowing back through but we just can't get the fuel flowing and we don't know why. Dad is gonna ring the garage tomorrow to have a word, both my Dad and dh are really good at car mechanics but it's got them stumped!

Not really finances are really bad atm, infact we can't really afford to go as drinks are expensive. Mum and Dad have offered to lend me their volvo but it means fetching it and taking it back tomorrow and I could just do without the hassle, they only live a couple of miles away but you know when you just can't be bothered? Have no choice though really and Mum has offered to drop the car round if I drop her home, means I have to have a tidy round first though

I did think it might be that "Doh"
I think its age - its my nippy little run around and not used that much but I think its time I said goodbye and exchanged it for a newer model, such a shame as it sails through its MOT!

We need a new one Toni, ours is about 15 years old but it's been such a good car. It's a Renault savannah estate with 7 seats and it's soooo fab. The two back seats fold flat so we have the big estate boots for holidays and stuff and the extra 2 seats when we want to take family and friends out and about. Sadly they don't make them anymore so we can't upgrade. I'd like a diesel galaxy but I don't have a spare eight grand :(

We have the Zafirra (sp?) as our main family car and its great. Dh and I have both decided the Clio will be exchanged for a nice sporty car when we have the pennies - and Im hoping for a nice convertible something or other!

Its great, we use it when SS is here as we have four children and we managed to bring him back with us from down south and fit all of our luggage and his in there and use one of the back seats as well!

We could probably use our back seats too now on holidays as we have much less stuff since Isobel was a bit older, we also have a roof box which fits both the suitcases and a large holdall in. I deffo want to stay with a 7 seater if I can and it has to be diesel too. I don't know why I'm even talking about it cos it's not gonna happen anytime soon!

It definately a Renault thing, our scenic is really annoying me atm. It keeps refusing to start, I've put it down to the heat (I discovered that it started if I sprayed the engine with water!) Am trying to persuade dh to get a Picasso, they look lovely.
