Tax credits?!!!!!!!!

Daughter has just phoned to see how much is in her bank account and its just over £1,000.00 looks like the tax credit people have paid her after all!!!!!!
She hasn't had any correspondence from them since the letter telling her she wasn't entitled to any and owed them over a thousand. Told her not to spend any as they will probably want it back next week

My old childminder found £4000 in her account and when she rang them was told it was because both her children were blind and deaf!!!! They werent!
They wouldnt let her pay it back but she kept it in the account and the following year she was told she wouldnt receive annything as she had been overpaid by £4000.
I have had problems every year with them. One year i was told i owed them £3000 and the next they gave me £3000 that i had been underpaid!?!?! WTF???20061008
You always get the money before you get the letter so she will probably get something in the post in the next day or so!

I used to work in advice centre, cab type thing.......we had loads of people coming in with this who had spent the money., Just tell them you can only pay back about £10 per month and they have to accept it.

Thats if they askl for it back like!! they did it to me about 2 y ears ago with a grand and fingers crossed they aint asked yet!!
