Just thought I'd run myself a nice bubbly bath, decided there was more than enough hot water in it so thought I'd run the cold tap for a while, which was running with BROWN WATER !!!!!!!!!!!! that has to be the shortest time i have ever spent in the bath, how could I relax knowing it was brown and not nice clear water

well i've found out what the problem is, just call the united utilities emergency line and they say it's a broken water main on the other side of the city

:clapping: i remember that as well, or if there was a river about to flood, they just go round shouting flood through the loudspeaker on the vans, they should bring that system back
