Saw the sneak preview - my friend got us free tickets! It's brilliant. Both my kids loved it, even my 3 year old. The animation is superb and I really recommend going to the cinema because seeing the races on the big screen is really fun! The plot is simple, but the characters are hilarious and the moral of the story was a good talking point for my 5 year old - friends are important so treat them well. Go and see this, take the kids, you will all love it.

We took the kids to see it as a start-of-summer treat. They both loved it! (This was the first time we've actually taken them to see a movie in a theater. Previously, we've just done DVDs at home.)

Do you think ds (3 in August) would sit through the whole film in the cinema? He's started collecting the cars from Shreddies and knows all the main cars' names. We've never taken him to the cinema before as I'm worried he'd get bored of sitting there. He LOVES Shark Tale/Shrek/Nemo etc. I suppose we'll never know until we try eh?

He'd probably be able to sit thru it (my 3 year old is only just 3) but the only concern would be the sound. It's very loud. However, mine didn't seem to mind and they both sat thru the whole thing (apart from the end bit when they saw people giving out free gifts!)

Thanks for that, think we might take him - I'm sure he'd love it. Hadn't thought about the sound though, although our local cinema isn't really that good so probably wouldn't be a prob! If he gets really twitchy, we'll just have to leave won't we? We were just in town earlier and everything is Cars isn't it? We were stopping every 10 seconds for him to say "look mummy, its the shreddies cars, there's Tow Mater and Doc Hudson and...!" And then there's the posters in bus stops etc.. lol.

Oh yes, take him - he'll love it. I'm sure you'll like it too, it's very cute and entertaining.
We picked up our free dvd (from voucher with sunday paper) with clips of the new film "cars". Both my 5 yr old and 3 yr old seem interested altho the 5 yr said "if I get bored, is it OK to walk out the cinema":cheesy:
