Just got in from work and sd is still sat at the PC in her pyjamas!!!! It really annoys me!!! When I first moved in I told her that I would like her to be washed and dressed by 12 each day. She did get dressed for a while but has now stopped doing it, dh sees no problem with it as they have Pyjamas days and he won't ask her to dress. My three always had to be washed and dress by a certain time. I don't want to have to see her in her pj for the day. Now he wonders why I'm grumpy but as we had an fall out the other day about it it's not worth telling him why. I thinks its lazy and sluvenly. She can keep her pj on if she wants to stay in her room for the day but not sat in my dining room!!! Feel bit better now. Am I being unreasonable?

I agree with u...we've just had 2 lay down the law with ss...again, it seems 2 me that they want 2 get away with as much as possible!!!
Stick 2 ur guns, failing that put a password on the pc, so she [b]cant[/c] use it...til she starts 2 buck her ideas up a bit lol

No, not unreasonable. I like people to be dressed by late morning if they are up and about the house. Luckily, my lot are all busybodies, get up early and rarely hang about in pjs.

No way are you being unreasonable.
Pyjama days...ok! But not all of the time!
I like us all to be washed and dressed by no later than 1.5 hours after we have gotten up. To be honest it's generally straight after brekkie - although i let dd run around a bit longer in her jammies!
I cna understand how you feel, and that it makes you feel uncomfortable. It's like the day is wasting away....

tbh i think it is just plain rude as you have asked for this not to happen. ITs also quite insulting as you have been out at work and stuff!!
If your rules are up and get dressed then she should stick to them

It's a difficult one. My Dad used to make us get dressed when we wanted to slouch about in our pj's at weekends and I used to really resent it. I don't mind if my kids don't get dressed until late but to be honest it rarely happens as we tend to be out and about at the weekends.
Having said that................ it's not fair to lay down one set of rules for your children and another set for your sd so in that case - no you are not being unreasonable.
