Got a phone call at work as the phone bill had arrived

OMG:smiley-fa I ould not believe aht was said

I have a phone bill of just over £219 and £154 where to mobile phones and they are virtaully all madams calls when she has sneaked off with the phone.

She is now grounded (again) and it is being deducted from the money I give her each month so know she will just get £5 in cash and £5 on her mob. |She is also expected to make more of an effort around the house as well

It willbe a struggle but I will get it paid though it will be later then the date they say as I have to wait for my wages and childbenefit.

if its bt ask for an extension, i always do and you can ask bt to ban mobile phone calls we did that once, but now he is on orange on his mobile he gets loads of free texts so it isnt too bad, we have started topping our moby up now just so we can text the kids when they are out or ring them, saves been on the landline bill

OMG that is a huge bill

Agreed!
Kids and phones don't mix.
Get her a O2 mobile coz for a tenner a month you can get 300 texts. Cheaper than letting her loose on the home phone.
Ban mobile calls from the landline as well, as has already been said and just text her from your mobile or ring her from it if she is needed.
Give her some right crummy jobs to do as well, scrub the bin and the loo or something, or wash Dad's undies and smelly socks, she'll hate it but it'll maybe make her think twice about being a madam in the future!!!!!

OMG hun, I know just how u feel, as ss did that 2 us just B4 xmas last yr!
If u want, u can contact BT & ask 2 have a phone lock service set up, & all u do is punch in the code whenever ur not gonna be about & she wont be able 2 dial anything except 999...thats wot we had 2 do, as he was ringing all his m8s on their mobs while I was in bed on a monday!

Whenever my daughter is on the phone I make sure she's not on too long and that she's not phoning a mobile. You can put a block on the phone so that you can't phone a mobile number.

O.M.G little madam needs a lesson in the value of cash. If she's old enough i'd make her get a part time job, 1st to pay for that bill, then get herself a mobile and all credit top ups.

Siousxie that is the deal she has on her phone.

Just reread the mobile phone bit and her dad got it wrong but it is still £131 which is way to high

and she has accepted what I told her about her cash. At the moment job wise she helps me out when I work by taking her brother to the free sumer activities -she does the trampoline

and she does not have anything worth selling on ebay as for some reason her and gadgets (eg mp3 players, headphones) do not seem to mix very well as she is a bit clumsy at times.

At least she has accepted her punishment and knows she has done wrong so, hopefully she will have learnt a lesson from this but :smiley-fa what a shock to get a bill that size. Did you scream, cry or throw things first?

no becuase she I was at work when I was first told and her dad did not help when I got back as he went up and trashed her room (she won't tidy it for him)

then he lost it and threw a phone so she went out to a friends and turned up at gymnastics where I was surprisingly calm and told her what i was doing then said if I ask you to do your room wil you do it and she said yes and she did it.

she is not really a bad girl really (as a lot of you know)just has the odd little **** up (pricey ones though)
