Has anyone else been watching this on E4? She's an all American girl who has to convince her family that she's fallen head over heels with this bloke and they're getting married (a couple of days after her family meets him!) to win $1million. She doesn't know that the guy is an actor and he's just there to make life harder!
I've only seen a couple of episodes but last night was great, she announced to her family that they were getting married in 3 days! Fireworks!! Her family hate him and her brothers and sister are refusing to go to the wedding.
It's like watching a car crash, you know you really shouldn't but you just can't stop, it's the wedding ceremony next week and for her to win the money all her family have to attend and noone can object. AND she finds out that the guy is an actor. It'll be fun watching!!

Haven't got a clue!!! Think she deserves it for ruining her family and destroying any trust they have in her...... Will be fun to see everyones reaction when the truth comes out next week.

She can win the money ( I won't say if she does though for those of you that don't know!) It is funny though and I think that Steve is kinda sweet. I think Randi's family are horrid though! TBH I don't think Randi comes across as a person with any sense of humour at all!

"Iagree" She really needs to take that rod out of her a***! And the way she looks down her nose at him - that's just rude. Have to say it's been fun watching him play on it - her face has been a picture!
Can't wait for Thursday!!

Did you catch the last episode then? I just watched it on E4's catch up sunday. OMG!! Randi's family are so freaking uptight! Her Dad did seem to have a sense of humour and came out looking like the most genuine of all of them.

Saw it last night as well, TBH I think her siblings were really unfair to her, what if that had been for real? They would have been going out of their way to ruin their sisters wedding day, mostly because they felt left out - not through concerns they were having. They all looked so happy (my god I've seen happier faces at a funeral!) The only person I really felt for was her mum because she was trying to keep everyone happy.
Although it was a happy ending (I wanted a Jerry Springer type ending here they all kicked the life out of each other, "ROTFL" only joking) My sister told me to get out the tissues but I don't go for all that sentiment so they stayed unused.

It got really soppy, sentimental and, well, american (I don't mean that in a horrible way but ykwim!!) The girls mum persuaded the siblings to attend so they all sat in the front row with faces like wet sundays (it was an outdoor ceremony and it was raining so it kind of suited the mood!), the minister asked if there were any objections (if there were there would be no money) but everyone kept their mouths shut and they made it to the vows, all they had to do was say I do, which she did but.... he said no!! She was nearly sick! He announced that it was all a con, her mum ran off, closely followed by the siblings (felt really bad for the mum cos she had tried so hard for her daughter even though it was breaking her heart) but the producers got them to come back to hear what had to be said.
Anyway, the whole story came out and she was told that he was an actor, then he said it had become a story about a familys love (sick bucket please) and told the family that originally they were to share the prize money (split into $250,000 for the bride, groom and each of their families) but as he was an actor and so were his 'family' the money was to be split $500,000 to her and the same to them, so they were all happy.
TBH thought it all went too sentimental - it peaked in the first 5 minutes when his 'mum' told her mum about doing a course on stripping and how she had a pole installed in her bedroom!!! Her face was priceless!
