I'm looking for a little table and chair or chairs for Isobel. The one that she has was second hand. It's the kind that you can make up into a high chair but it's really old and manky now. I'm just looking for something simple that she can sit at to eat her meals etc. I can't find anything in Argos. Any ideas? What have your little'uns got?

Wilkinsons did have quite sturdy plastic tables and chairs in but they may be out of stock now

Oh the coloured ones for the garden? I have those. Didn't mean that kind. Would love a wooden pink set

Asda had some last week, pink with a stool about £20. They were wooden flat pack things.

Ikea ???, think they have solid pine ones which you can stain or paint to match a room theme

They are great thanks. Someone else mentioned the Ikea ones although Ikea is miles away from us. Toysrus is closer. Wonder if the ELC do one as she has a £10 voucher for them :D

wow andrea there was one of them in the charity shop we went in today with my mum obviously not as good as yours, but it had the lid to lift off, bases for the tope to putt little lego on and a pull out bit with big letters, wish I had got it now, was only 6quid and looked strong, the last table I got looks like the elc one in blue that eea posted about but ds unscrews the legs and attacks us with it:angry: but we got that from a charity shop and it was only a couple of quid with two strong chairs

We have the Ikea ones in dd's room as she uses the to paint on etc. I must admit that they have both always sat at the dining table to eat meals, but we did used to put the little set in the garden before we got them a picnic bench.

I would love for Isobel to sit at the dining table with us to eat but we don't have one and we don't have room for one. I've just ordered one though (see my other thread) but I don't think we'll all be able to fit round it :(
