I think they may sell better if you sell them as a pack of 3 or 5, you can use copyrighted stuff as long as you have bought the official papers for them and haven't just printed them yourself (copyright was paid when you bought the item), you may have to comfirm this but I think it's okay

I used to sell cards on ebay, they did sell really well round xmas, mothers/fathers day easter etc but any other time of the year they was quite slow. There is so many people selling them on there now there is just too much choice. I'm not saying don;t try though, it certainly is worth giving it a go. Just make sure you have a look at cards others are selling to give you an idea of prices etc.
One thing i found did sell really well was wedding/christing invitations! Also 'alternative' cards like... congratulations on your divorce..... wedding/ engagement cards for same sex couples..... congratulations on your new brother/sister.... generally things you may struggle to find in shops. Also for step mum/dad (especially round fathers/mothers day) step sister/brother etc. I also used to offer the person who was buying the choice to put their own wording inside the card. i printed it off on nice paper, cut round it fancy scissors and taped inside the card... makes it look that bit more 'special'.
Good luck with it, hope it works out for you......also have you thought about maybe a small stall at a local car boot. I used to make a bomb there, and also craft/summer fairs that schools churches etc put on in the summer. you do need a few to go with though. I also took some supplies with me and made some at the stall so people could see me.

**5** Good for you, its a nice hobby and if you can make something back from it all the better. I recently got into it but only make them for family and friends etc or party acceptences/invitations for Emily to use. What about school fairs, could you get a table there and sell them, or local community centre? When I was involved with the local community centre, where we used to live, the lady who ran the coffee bar used to buy cards from a wholesalers and leave them out all the time with an honesty box and it used to make loads of money. The chair ran craft classes at the centre and she and her ladies used to make cards and leave them to sell as well, but the proceeds went towards the centre.

There is also someone who leaves them at both our local hairdressers and post office, may be worth a shot :o)

I know someone who supplies card craft items - keep telling him to advertise on here. but he hasn't quite got his site sorted yet. He does have a shop on ebay I think as well as listing on there.
