Awwwww my goodness did anyone watch this programme tonite ?? cryingsmil

It was one of the most touching programmes Ive seen for some time, a bit about it :

'Put Me Together Again' follows the extraordinary efforts of experts to retrieve the lost personalities of brain injury victims. Kay was about to take up a place at university studying archaeology as a mature student with a young child when she was mugged. Now Kay has a five minute memory.

Her amnesia is so severe she can't remember who people are, where she is or what she's doing, and she thinks her teenage daughter is still a little girl.

The bit where she couldnt recall the memories of her daughter being a baby cryingsmil , i really had a cry, thats just so so sad.

I watched most of it. Was really sad, did you hear them say that her memory is so bad sometimes she forgets that she has the condition.
Did her intensive therapy help?

Hope the person who mugged her was watching last night.

I watched some of it before daughter wanted to watch her programme on the other side, it was very sad, awful for her daughter too who really has lost her mum as much as if she died. Did she improve at all?

Yes it did helped. It said that she now remembers how old her daughter is and she remembered bits from a holiday that they'd had together :)
