I've just been watching this in tears - OMG, that poor woman who went under the trike and then seeing her walk down the aisle.

That made me cry as well.
What about the poor guy who had chicken pox - don't think I would have had the photos done if I had looked that bad.

It just struck a cord with me - I nearly lost my leg after my accident (it took 4 ops but it's still there) and I remember thinking that I would do everything I could to walk again because I wanted to walk down the aisle on my wedding day. I was really determined, my mum was told to expect me to be in hospital for at least 6 months but I was out after 4. Well, 2 more ops and after pulling ligaments in my ankle 10 days before it I did it and walked down the aisle! Dh said there was something about that womans attitude that really reminded him of me.

Actually the break rarely bothers me now! My hip went 18 months later (the 2 other ops!) and that's what is playing up - actually really sore atm, not giving myself a break trying to get ready for next week. Am going to MIL tomorrow so will try to rest cos we've got a busy weekend ahead!!!!
